Dan, Cal and the whole team at Calibre Contractors have been absolutely great throughout the saga that has been our project (a two-storey extension). They really dug us out of a hole when we lost significant money to a less trustworthy builder, helping us to keep costs down and rectifying the poor workmanship from before. Their communication, flexibility and adaptability throughout the various challenges thrown up has been second to none - including working around us as we lived in the property throughout - and they worked at real pace without compromising on quality. The trades that they brought in were also excellent in the main and were project managed really thoroughly. We really couldn't praise them enough and can't imagine what state we would have been in without them. Dan and his team at Calibre worked on a major renovation project for us, extending the first floor over an existing ground floor extension, complete reconfiguration of first floor layout, and extending and converting loft space. The guys were a pleasure to work with throughout the process - punctual, polite, professional and most importantly, an excellent standard of workmanship. Site was kept safe, clean and tidy, which was important as we were living in with young kids during the process, and they managed the work schedule to ensure we kept access to the rooms we needed for as long as possible. They were able to make suggestions for improvements to the design as we went along and accommodated changes we wanted to make too. Having a builder you can trust is so important on a project like this and Calibre ticked all the boxes. Highly recommend!
